Our History

Established in 1932, by the Grandfather of the present Managing Director Mr Kevin Harker, as a family business, incorporated in 1998 Harker's Transport operates from two warehouses.

Today Harkers comprises of its main 60,000 sq ft National Distribution Centre and also its smaller 45,000 square foot warehouse and distribution centre sited in Southwick, Sunderland.

With its key position adjacent to the A19 and A1(M) motorway network. This is the operational centre for one of the most well equipped fleets of National Furniture Distribution vehicles in the U.K.

Our client portfolio consists of a wide range of industries including furniture manufacturers, national furniture retailers, white goods distributors, furniture importers.

Harker's distribution provides UK businesses with the most comprehensive range of domestic, time sensitive DHD delivery services for home and retail.
