Harkers are a long established warehousing, distribution and logistics specialist business, based in the North East of England. Kevin Harker, Managing Director, heads up the operation, supported by a highly experienced management team of proven warehousing and distribution specialists.

Harkers business approach is completely flexible, offering a comprehensive range of warehousing and distribution options for both manufacturers and retailers with the aim of always providing the service to bespoke requirements.

The key focus in recent years has been the provision of a Direct Home Delivery service (DHD). Operating a large fleet of 55 purpose built Direct Home Delivery vehicles, each equipped with the latest satellite navigation and tracking systems plus over 200 demountable boxes.

The delivery teams carry the latest in digital telecommunication equipment to ensure they can always keep in touch. Electronic 'proof of delivery' signature-capture modules have been introduced, these can immediately confirm that end users have received their goods safely and in good condition.
